Course Description

Course Description: Effective communication is still very important in the business world, and very important for us to succeed as employees and especially as effective leaders. What I see more and more everyday is the erosion of effective communication. With all of the texting and instant messaging that everyone participates in, a whole new language is really being created.

It becomes more and more acceptable for emails to be sent without them being proofed or reread for missing words. It becomes acceptable to add emoticons in the body of our messages to business coworkers, direct reports, superiors or even customers. But the result of this, is a loss or disconnect a lot of times in our messages. So let's get back to the basics of effective communication.

President and Training Leader

Brandon Brazeel, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Early in my life I discovered my passion for helping everyone around me be better, and that has stayed my passion and focus all of these years later. I achieved my first management position while I was still in high school because the company saw maturity in me for my age and my drive to not only make myself great, but also everyone else around me. I spent about five years gaining management experience in the entertainment type industry as a manager before I decided it was time to go to college. During my time as a full-time student, I continued to work in various industries from construction to leasing apartments to the financial industry.I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management and minor in Economics from Oklahoma State University. From there I managed banks for about fours years before I was recruited over to the Human Resource side of the business. I have now been in the Human Resources field since 2007. I completed my MBA at Oklahoma State University in 2010 and achieved my Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 2011, and achieved my SHRM-SCP in 2015. In my current role, I am the Regional Manager of Human Resources, and I manage five different locations throughout the United States. I also teach HR and management classes at a university in Tulsa, Oklahoma as an adjunct professor. I have served on the Board of Directors for the Tulsa Area Human Resource Association (TAHRA) since 2011, and I was the 2013 President. I have also been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 2011.I really enjoy coaching and training to help everyone I can succeed in whatever they do.
